Pelvic floor training the way it should be!

Find the centre. Wake the power pelvis. Discover the musculature of the pelvis. Train the pelvic floor in a way ensuring that it automatically does the right thing in every conceivable situation. In everyday life. In sport. During sex. And during childbirth. It all depends on the Levator ani.

The term “pelvic floor” is the collective name for a network of muscles which finish off the bony pelvis at the bottom. If left untrained, this multiple layer of muscles slackens and causes the organs and connective tissue to age prematurely – with unpleasant consequences for your health. When trained correctly and vivatomically, the pelvic floor musculature is a valuable protection against slackening organs, a weak bladder, an enlarged prostate or incontinence.

CANTIENICA® pelvic floor training interconnects the innermost and essential layer of the pelvic floor with the musculature of the entire pelvis, back, stomach, hips and thighs. The pelvis itself is optimally straightened up. The result? A protective muscular armour, a power pelvis which optimises the whole posture, protects the vertebral bodies and joints and successfully prevents wear phenomena of all kinds.

The pelvic floor and the diaphragm – which Benita Cantieni calls “the most important intermediate floors in the skyscraper that is the human body” – are trained for and in everyday life so that they automatically react correctly in keeping with the situation at all times. When you bend over, laugh, sneeze or cough, the muscles immediately tighten and stay tense.

CANTIENICA® pelvic floor training helps quickly and sustainably with the following complaints:

  • Weak bladder, female incontinence

  • Menstruative complaints

  • Male urine and stool incontinence (including after prostate operations)

  • Haemorrhoids

  • Organ descents

  • Hernias

  • Pelvic misalignment

  • Backache

  • Lymphoedema

  • Slackening of the buttock and stomach musculature

  • Arthrosis or deformation of the hip joints

  • Incorrect postures of all kinds

Your safety and absence of pain are our priority. It is not for nothing that the CANTIENICA® method is considered therapeutic bodywork, which is learned and offered by many physiotherapists. As your strength increases and you become more aware of your body, you learn to correct incorrect postures and coordinate movement sequences. Intensive supervision in small groups, individual adaptation of all exercises to your form and abilities make CANTIENICA® training safe. All exercises are performed three-dimensionally so they are natural and easy on the joints. Each exercise can be adapted to your needs by modification or intensification.

CANTIENICA® pelvic floor training is offered by many physiotherapists and midwives and is recommended by gynaecologists and orthopaedists because it is absolutely safe and gentle. It is a guide to how to help yourself.
